On Saturday June 30th we’ll be having a Coffee Morning and selling pre-loved books. This will be in the hall from 10am – 12.30pm. Our postcode is BL9 6NY.
So coffee, tea, toast, lots of home-made cakes and thousands of books! The books are looking for a new home so please come along and adopt!
Or if you missed out on a summer best-seller last year (or the year before) there’s every chance you can catch-up now!
No tickets needed, just turn up on the day and enjoy yourself.
We also still have some books kindly left to us when Moorside Library closed earlier in the year. This includes some large print books. All proceeds from these ex Library books will go to The National Literacy Trust. The Trust works with schools and communities to give disadvantaged children the literacy skills to succeed in life. We’ll be letting the Library books go shortly after the Fair so this may be your last chance.
We look forward to seeing you!
Scouts Cream Tea
And on Saturday July 7th the Scouts are having a Cream Tea fund-raiser from 2pm – 4pm in the hall. Tea or Coffee, scones, jam and cream. Tickets are £3.50 per person.
