Coffee morning & book-fair

This Saturday, February 15th, we’ll be having another of our very popular Coffee Mornings with lots of pre-loved books. This will be in the church hall from 10am – 12pm. Our postcode is BL9 6NY.
There will be plenty of home-made cakes, bacon butties and thousands of books.
Pre-loved books
The weather doesn’t look great so why not find some shelter with us for an hour or so? It’s still dark in the evenings and not much on telly so come and find a good book to while away the time on something worthwhile. Maybe search for that old favourite that you want to read again?
As a church we aim to give 10% of our regular incoming money to a number of different charities. Last year that came to nearly £4200. Events such as these Coffee Mornings help us to do that.
Hopefully, see you on Saturday!

And if you’re more interested in the recipes for the cakes above then drop us a ‘comment’ below and we’ll get back to you…

All set up and ready to go. See you at 10.00am.
Many thanks to everyone who came yesterday, in the wind and the rain, and to all who helped organise and run the coffee morning. If anything it was busier than usual. Exactly £300 was raised, which is fabulous.
