With more people shopping on-line at the moment this is a just a reminder of a post that we put up last year about easyfundraising.
This is a great site where you can raise money for St John with St Mark’s Church with your everyday online purchasing. At no extra cost to yourself!
Each time you shop online via the easyfundraising website the retailers give the church a donation as a ‘thank you’. We have a core of people who regularly do this and it would be wonderful to make that group a little bigger.
Some of the donations can be very substantial, particularly for house or car insurance or if you switch utility provider. Others can be smaller, such as when you’re buying books, but it all mounts up.
We want to raise as much as possible to support the work that we do in the local community and beyond. And the more people who join, the more we can raise.
So, please help us by following this link and signing up: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stjohnstmarkch/

There are over 3600 shops and sites who are happy to be part of this – from Amazon, Argos, Asda, Aviva insurance, booking.com, Boots, Curry’s, Debenhams and ebay… to XBOX, Yo Sushi and the Zoological Society of London!
Support the cause
So, please follow the link to the site. You should see the page below. Then click on ‘support this cause’. Then follow the simple instructions and remember to click ‘Download the donation reminder’ at the end. This will prompt you to shop through the website and will make sure any eligible purchases are raising funds for St John with St Mark.
The site has raised over £26 million for 120,000 causes since it started. It’s a really simple and easy way to generate some much needed funds. So, a big ‘thank you’ in advance for taking part.
[In addition, Ecclesiastical Insurance will donate £130 to the church if you take out your home insurance with them before 31st December 2020. Just quote ‘Trust 130’ when you take out your policy. For more ways to financially support the work of St John & St Mark’s Church please follow this link]
