We don’t know the significance of interruptions. But we need to allow them to happen. For our story to be intertwined with someone else’s.

That said, don’t you wish Jesus had replied: Martha, go and put your feet up. And to the disciples: Come on boys, we’re going to the kitchen

‘And when the priests came out of the holy place, a cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.’

So, next time that you’re interrupted… just pause a second… before you decide what to do next. Pause before you decide how to respond.
