Here are the details of our Christmas services this year at St John & St Mark, Bury and Christ Church, Walmersley. We’d love to see you at one or more of these special occasions!
- Monday 3rd December 6.30 pm: Christingle at both churches, supporting the work of The Childrens’ Society and Wood Street Mission (please bring a toy for a child in need)
- Sunday 23 December 6.30 pm: O come all ye faithful and join us for traditional readings and carols – Christ Church
- Christmas Eve:
- 5.00 pm Crib Service – for the young & young at heart – St John & St Mark
- 6.00 pm Family Communion – Christ Church
- 7.30 pm Parish Communion – St John & St Mark
- 11.30 pm Parish Communion – Christ Church
- Christmas Day 10.00 am: Holy Communion Service at both churches. While the sprouts are cooking, come and remember what the day is really all about
- Sunday 30 December 10.30 am: Joint Benefice Service led by Rev Paul Sanderson – St John and St Mark
The Christmas Day lunch is this year being hosted by St Mary’s, Bury. Please phone 0785 530 6074 for details.
