Craft ideas for Palm Sunday

Craft ideas for Palm Sunday

Listen now

This Sunday 5th April 2020 is Palm Sunday. One of our regular viewers asked us to put up some ideas for things children could make at home in the absence of being at Junior Church or Sunday School.

So, below are just a handful of ideas which illustrate the story found in Matthew 21:1-11. This was when Jesus came into Jerusalem to be greeted by a crowd waving palm branches and treating him like royalty. Carry on reading in Matthew to find out what happens next…

So, we’ve searched and found some paper crafts, a picture made from paint on hands and feet (sorry about that) and even fun with fruit! Press on the links to get more details on how to make what you can see. Thanks and kudos to the sites for coming up with these.

A prayer for Palm Sunday

Jesus, we welcome you as our King.

Come rule in our hearts.

We shout ‘Hosanna’,

because we know that you love us

and you are our Saviour.

Come, Lord Jesus, as King

and help us. Amen
