So, God makes a human from red clay. Like Michaelangelo with his red wax model – I wonder if God’s fingerprints were left somewhere on Adam too.

Harvest needs us to do our bit too. To work alongside God. To prepare ground and sow seed and bring in the crop. To be a thin place for others, spreading a new light and changing landscapes for those we encounter.

Our next Sunday evening worship service is 7pm on Sept 25th, 2022. We’re in Creation Season and we’re calling it ‘For the beauty of the Earth’

It’s Creation Season and I couldn’t not talk about Psalm 19 today. Abraham Heschel compared these first verses to someone with ‘presence’.

Jesus was ‘doing’ God. And we are called, challenged, purposed to do the same. We should be ‘doing’ God too. If Jesus wombled, then God wombles – and we should be wombling too.

We’re in Creation Season, a time for thinking about God as Creator and Sustainer. Hence our next Sunday@Seven meeting: ‘All that he had made’.
