All that he had made

September 1st to October 4th 2020 is Creation Season. This is a time for thinking about God as Creator and Sustainer of all life. The theme for the Season of Creation 2020 is: Jubilee for the Earth. Jubilee is a time of rest for the land from exploitation, and to restore ecosystems and people. Hence the title of our September 27th Sunday@Seven meeting: ‘All that he had made’. This comes from Genesis 1:31…
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day.
We’ll almost certainly be Zooming again and you’re very welcome to muddle along with us. Please let us know via the Contact page if you are interested and we will forward joining details.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to informally worship together on the last Sunday of each month – and yes, it’s at 7 pm. There’s a mix of songs, prayers and reflections. We usually have an ‘open mic’ slot for people to share whatever is on their mind, though that’s harder to do with the Zoom time limit. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, one of our Authorised Lay Ministers, ably supported by Cath Hilton.
If circumstances dramatically improve and we are allowed to physically meet up and sing together by the end of September, then we will update this post with a location for ‘All that he had made’.
