Telling the Story

Telling the Story

Listen now

Our next monthly Sunday evening informal worship is at 7pm on September 26th, 2021. It will be called: ‘Telling the Story’.

Tell me the stories of Jesus I love to hear; things I would ask him to tell me if he were here; scenes by the wayside, tales of the sea, stories of Jesus, tell them to me. (W.H. Parker 1845-1929)

We will be meeting in the Barritt Room at St John with St Mark’s Hall (Parkinson Street, Bury, BL9 6NY). We will also be Zooming for those who can’t make it in person. Currently over fifty people now come together with us, in one format or another, on the last Sunday of each month. So, if you would like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our contact page to get in touch.

What is Sunday@Seven?

Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of old and new songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister, ably supported by Cath Hilton. Every now and then, Ian Banks will help out too.

If circumstances dramatically change for ‘Telling the Story’ then we will update this post as appropriate.
