All at Sea
Listen now
|
Our next monthly Sunday evening informal worship is at 7pm on July 25th, 2021. It will be called: ‘All at Sea’ and will be led by Nigel Silvester. Nigel will be looking at some biblical sea voyages.
So, expect a bit of Jonah and a lot of Paul criss-crossing the Med. But will Nigel stretch the point and include Jesus on the Sea of Galilee (which, of course, is a lake)? You’ll have to come and find out!
We will be meeting in the Barritt Room at St John with St Mark’s Hall (Parkinson Street, Bury, BL9 6NY). We will also be Zooming for those who can’t make it in person. Currently over fifty people now come together with us, in one format or another, on the last Sunday of each month. So, if you would like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our contact page to get in touch.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of old and new songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister, ably supported by Cath Hilton.
If circumstances dramatically change for ‘All at Sea’ then we will update this post as appropriate.
