The church is ‘dressed’ and ready for our Harvest festival today. We’ll also have St John with St Mark’s School with us on Tuesday morning for their Harvest service. Donations of food will again go to the Porch Boxes and the Booth Centre. There will be a Harvest lunch in the hall after the Sunday service.Read more
Eagles Wing are a mutual support group for asylum seekers and local people in Bury, Lancashire. Their aim is to befriend newcomers to our town. Old friends can make sure that no one is lonely and isolated when they arrive here. They have members from all over the world, speaking many different languages.Read more

Seeing the reactions of followers of Bury FC over recent days gives credence to that point of view. Our Walking Group on 6th July was a much anticipated visit to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Some of us had never been before. Others had not been for a good number of years. The walk included Janet’s Foss, a picturesque waterfall, in which people were already cooling off.
