Harvest festival 2019

Harvest festival 2019

Listen now

The church is ‘dressed’ again and ready for our Harvest festival today. We’ll also have St John with St Mark’s School  with us on Tuesday morning for their Harvest service.

So, if you’re in the area today at 10.30 am, and would like to plough the fields and scatter, then we’d love to have you with us.

Our scarecrow makes a welcome return

Donations of food will again go to Adullam HomesPorch Boxes and the Booth Centre. There will be a lunch in the hall after the Sunday service.

For the foodies amongst you, the Altar loaf was made with wholemeal flour this year (white last year).

  1. Thank you to everybody who attended the service today and for the Harvest donations, which will be delivered to the local homeless shortly. Also to those who made the Harvest lunch.
Our scarecrow now has a friend called Harvey. Thanks to Walmersley Rainbows for making him.
