Heaven invites you to a party

Heaven invites you to a party

Listen now

Our next Sunday@Seven service will be January 3rd, 2021 and we would love for you to join us. We’re calling it: ‘Heaven invites you to a party’ and will be time for us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. You can read about the birth here in Luke 2:

The angel said to the shepherds, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”

We’ll almost certainly be Zooming again and you’re very welcome to muddle along with us. Please let us know via the Contact page if you are interested and we will forward joining details.

What is Sunday@Seven?

Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to informally worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, one of our Authorised Lay Ministers, ably supported by Cath Hilton.

If circumstances dramatically improve and we are allowed to physically meet up and sing together for ‘Heaven invites you to a party’, then we will update this post with a location.
