Hungry and thirsty

Our next Sunday evening worship service is at 7pm on February 26th. This time we will be in the hall at Christ Church, Walmersley. Come and join us for an hour of worship and reflection as we explore the theme: ‘Hungry and Thirsty’. This ties in with the Gospel reading for the first Sunday in Lent, which tells us about Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness at the start of his ministry – Matthew 4:1-11.
The service will be led by Nigel Silvester. As usual, we will also be Zooming for those who can’t make it in person. So, if you’d like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our CONTACT page to get in touch.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to worship together informally on the last Sunday of each month. There are modern songs and ancient hymns, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister, ably supported by a group of musicians.
If the venue needs to change for ‘Hungry and Thirsty’ then we will update this post as appropriate.
