I will sing

Our next Sunday@Seven service will be on August 19th. We’ll be in the back room of the Hall at Christ Church Walmersley. And yes, amazingly, it starts at 7pm. The theme is ‘I will sing to the Lord’. This time we have a chance to sing some of your favourite hymns, songs and choruses. Please let Nigel know ahead of time though so that he can rehearse!

Psalm 104:33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

What is Sunday @ Seven?

Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to sing and pray in a more informal setting than the usual Sunday and weekday church services. It’s ably led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister (lead vocals and acoustic guitar) and Cath Hilton (keyboard), plus anyone else who shows willing on the night.

So if you enjoy a good sing-along then please come along! There’s prayer and thought-provoking meditations too. Plus a brew, cake and biscuits to keep you going. Sometimes there’s even ice-cream when the budget and the weather allows.
