Looking Forward
Listen now
|
Our next Sunday@Seven service is entitled ‘Looking forward’ and will be on January 31st, 2021. We would love for you to join us.
Nigel will be leading us and will be challenging us to think about the future – both as individuals and as a local church.
One of the Bible passages that we will be looking at is Luke 5:36-39
He also told them a parable: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and sews it on an old garment; otherwise the new will be torn, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine desires new wine, but says, ‘The old is good.’”
With lock-down still in place we’ll be Zooming again and you’re very welcome to muddle along with us. Please let us know via the Contact page if you are interested and we will forward joining details.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to informally worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, one of our Authorised Lay Ministers, ably supported by Cath Hilton.
If circumstances dramatically improve and we are allowed to physically meet up and sing together for ‘Looking Forward, then we will update this post with location details.
