Here are the November 2023 Bible readings which we’ll be using in our two churches. Please make use of these readings and reflect on what they might be saying to you.
The readings
Our readings this month include people who will hunger no more and the promise that those who mourn will be comforted. There is justice rolling down like waters and people staying awake all night. There are warnings about complacency and the encouragement to use your talents. We end with Christ saying that what we do for others we also do for him – but also that what we don’t do for others we don’t do for him either.

If you don’t have access to a Bible, then please follow this link to the Vanderbilt Divinity Library. It’s not always the same but it’s normally not far off.
The November 2023 Bible readings include these timelessly relevant words from Psalm 70…
Prayer for deliverance from enemies
Be pleased, O God, to deliver me.
O Lord, make haste to help me!
Let those be put to shame and confusion
who seek my life.
Let those be turned back and brought to dishonour
who desire to hurt me.
Let those who say, ‘Aha, Aha!’
turn back because of their shame.Let all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you.
Let those who love your salvation
say evermore, ‘God is great!’
But I am poor and needy;
hasten to me, O God!
You are my help and my deliverer;
O Lord, do not delay!
