The Ukrainian Church
There has been a Ukrainian community in Manchester since before the 1st World War but it rapidly increased after the 2nd World War. These numbers were made up of Ukrainian refugees from Displaced Persons Camps in Germany and Austria. These were joined by Ukrainians who had served in Allied Armies.
The church on Bury Old Road has been a place of worship for the Ukrainians since 1954. Follow this link to get to their facebook page.
