Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come

Listen now

We next meet for our monthly Sunday evening informal worship at 7pm on May 30th 2021. It will be called ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ and will be led by Nigel Silvester. It’s an extension to the ‘Thy Kingdom Come 2021‘ season, which runs 13th to 23rd May. Nigel will be reflecting on the Lord’s Prayer.

“Pray then in this way:

Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
     Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
     And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one.”

Matthew 6:9-13 NRSV

We will be Zooming again – but for anyone local who doesn’t have internet access we have been supplying a hard-copy of the service sheet. Currently over fifty people now come together with us, in one format or another, on the last Sunday of each month. So, if you would like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our contact page to get in touch.

What is Sunday@Seven?

Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, one of our Authorised Lay Ministers, ably supported by Cath Hilton

If circumstances dramatically improve and we are allowed to physically meet up and sing together for “Thy Kingdom Come” (and can technically link-up with those who can’t be with us in person) then we will update this post with location details.
