The Bible is full of water stories. From Genesis when God moved over the water to Revelation and the river of the water of life. Water, water everywhere!

Our next Sunday@Seven service will be on July 26th 2020. Our theme this time will be ‘Come to the waters’. Water plays a big part in the Bible. There’s often too much of it or too little of it!

Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Rest. An easy yoke. A light burden. Sounds almost too good to be true, in today’s rapid-fire, high-pressure, no-excuses world.

From next Sunday, July 12th, we will be back worshiping in church! We will have just the one service, at 11am. Christ Church will have an earlier service at 10am.

Welcome to our church lock-down recipe #6. It’s for a flourless Chocolate Cake. Yeah, we thought #5 would be the last one too, but we had a special request to bring this one to you.

The events of Spring 2020 will remain long in the memory and its effects will impact upon our world for many years to come. As we wished everyone Happy New Year six months ago, we were blissfully unaware of what was to lie ahead.

Following the recent government announcement we hope to open our churches for public worship shortly. Most of us will be a little heavier and a little hairier than when we last met together!

In the July 2020 Bible readings we have donkeys, eating and drinking, rain, snow, seeds being sown, weeds, yeast, pearls and fishing nets…

Jesus says: “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves”. When the going gets tough, you are going to have to dig-in. You must prepare to be different.

Here’s our June 21st newsletter, which is Father’s Day in the UK. Our churches are open for individual prayer. However, all public worship continues to be suspended until further notice.
