Running the Race

We next meet for our monthly Sunday evening informal worship at 7pm on April 25th 2021. It will be called ‘Running the Race’ and will be led by Nigel Silvester.
The end of April is often the time for the London Marathon, so, who knows, maybe Nigel will be there in his running kit…
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
We will be Zooming again – but for anyone local who doesn’t have internet access we have been supplying a hard-copy of the service sheet. Currently over fifty people now come together with us, in one format or another, on the last Sunday of each month. So, if you would like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our contact page to get in touch.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to informally worship together on the last Sunday of each month. There’s a mix of songs, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, one of our Authorised Lay Ministers, ably supported by Cath Hilton.
If circumstances dramatically improve and we are allowed to physically meet up and sing together for “Running the Race”, then we will update this post with location details.
