Standing on the shoulders of giants
Our next Sunday evening worship service is 7pm on October 30th, 2022. Come and join us for an hour of relaxed worship and reflection. This time there will be a chance to remember all those who have gone before us. We’ll particularly think about those who’ve left a lasting personal impression. Those who have urged and inspired us, cheered us on our way. Which is why we’re calling it: ‘Standing on the shoulders of giants.’
The service will be led by Nigel Silvester and we will be meeting in the Hall at Christ Church, Walmersley. As usual, we will also be Zooming for those who can’t make it in person. So, if you’d like to give it a go, or want to know more, then please use our CONTACT page to get in touch.
What is Sunday@Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to worship together informally on the last Sunday of each month. There are modern songs and ancient hymns, prayers and reflections. If time allows, there is space for discussion too. It’s normally led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister, ably supported by a group of musicians.
If the venue needs to change for ‘Standing on the shoulders of giants’ then we will update this post as appropriate.
