Sunday@Seven – then Sings my Soul
Our next Sunday@Seven service will be on September 30th. The theme is ‘Then sings my soul’. This is our (slightly delayed) chance to sing some of your favourite hymns, songs and choruses. Nigel already has a very full list but please let him know in advance of any special requests.
This time we’ll be in The Barritt Room at St John with St Mark. And yes, surprisingly, it starts at 7pm.
If you want to find out some background on ‘How great thou art’ from which ‘then sings my soul’ is taken then please follow this link.
What is Sunday @ Seven?
Sunday@Seven is an opportunity to sing and pray in a more informal setting than the usual Sunday and weekday church services. It’s ably led by Nigel Silvester, our Authorised Lay Minister (lead vocals and acoustic guitar) and Cath Hilton (keyboard), plus anyone else who shows willing on the night.
So if you enjoy a good sing-along then please come along! There’s prayer and thought-provoking meditations too. Plus a brew, cake and biscuits to keep you going.
We look forward to seeing you.
